Laura Bow Omnipedia Wiki

The Dagger of Amon Ra is a priceless artifact from ancient Egypt, which was discovered in the Temple of Amon Ra by Dr. Pippin Carter.

Some time after its discovery, Dr. Carter arranged for it to be transported to New York City to be displayed in the Egyptian Exhibit at the Leyendecker Museum. He faced harsh objections from some Egyptians, including Ptahsheptut Smith, who insisted that the dagger belonged to Egypt and should be sent to the Cairo Museum.

Less than a month after the Dagger arrived at the Leyendecker Museum, it was stolen from its display case in the Egyptian Exhibit. The New York Daily News Tribune sent Laura Bow to investigate.

The Dagger's Epilogue[]

Worst Ending[]

After Laura gave it away, the Dagger of Amon Ra vanished. Twenty years later, in 1946, it mysteriously appeared on the doorstep of the Cairo Museum in Egypt. There was fresh human blood on the blade, as if it were some kind of a message.

Bad Ending[]

After Laura's recovery of the Dagger of Amon Ra, it went back on display at the Leyendecker Museum. The large amount of Press coverage drew many patrons to the museum to see the Dagger.

After two years on display at the Leyendecker, the Dagger exhibit continued on a tour of museums in the United States, Europe, and finally found its way back to the Cairo Museum in Egypt.
