Dr. Olympia Myklos is a severe, conservative, middle-aged woman with an intelligent look in her eye. A rather creepy Greek woman with a very deep accent, she loves everything about death, paleontology, and working at the museum.
Description[]
Dr. Myklos is a noted expert in paleontology who also acts as the Leyendecker Museum's curator in charge of dinosaur and physical anthropology exhibits. She has also done significant research in the areas of Egyptian hieroglyphs, and misunderstood domestic pests. Her work in the area of physical anthropology led to the creation of the Life Mask Exhibit. She has written articles about life masks, dinosaurs, and the preservation of dead beings.
Olympia has a Ph.D. in Paleontology from the University of Thessalonika, Greece, and a Ph.D. in Physical Anthropology from the University of Thessalonika, Greece. She also received a Double Master's degree in Paleontology and Physical Anthropology from the University of Thessalonika, Greece. In addition, Dr. Myklos is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award From the Society to Protect Misunderstood Inquilines.
Olympia keeps several exotic pets such as a ferret named Daisy (who wanders around the museum) and a cobra named Barney (who's locked in a cage in her office.) She also has other cobras who seem to have escaped. In the past, she also had a pet wolverine named Fluffy, who she misses despite the fact that said wolverine once tried to kill her.
Olympia is good friends with Yvette Delacroix and is extremely fond of Wolf Heimlich.
Act II[]
Dr. Myklos is first seen at the museum's charity party. She meets with Yvette to listen to the Countess Lavinia Waldorf-Carlton tell her story about how she met her late husband Sterling on a casino ship offshore for legal drinking and gambling. The Countess also talks about the legal problems surrounding Sterling's Will, who was in the process of changing it before he died. Olympia remarks that he's probably worm food by now.
Act III[]
Dr. Myklos can be seen occasionally wandering the museum, but she is also very busy throughout the evening. She first visits Yvette in her office, who shows off a chicken bone as a joke before whispering a secret in her ear. Olympia then retrieves snake oil from her office to deal with the missing cobras at the bottom level of the museum. She later has an intimate moment with Wolf in his office, and cuddles with Daisy before continuing her search for her missing cobras.
A little before 10:00 PM, Olympia invites Rameses Najeer into Wolf's office to show off his collection of weaponry. She warns him about the sword not being mounted properly, and he thanks her for potentially saving his life. She then convinces him to show off his Egyptian sun symbol tattoos on his foot. She then has another intimate moment with Wolf, who proclaims that he would do anything for her; even murder. They briefly ponder who else might die tonight, and then they both revel in their dark humor.
Sometime after 1:00 PM, Olympia tells Ernie Leach to check the release valve for vat 13 in the Alcoholic Preservation Lab.
At 2:00, Wolf meets with Olympia at the Medieval Armor Exhibit to show off his fencing scars.
Act IV[]
Dr. Myklos can be seen occasionally wandering the museum. Between 3:00 to 3:15 PM, Olympia enters her office to discover the Countess dying and tied up on her desk. Close examination reveals a pale complexion on her face, with Olympia noting that she doesn't look too well. The Countess uses her remaining breath to mutter Detective O'Riley's name before Olympia wanders off to find him.
Olympia's Epilogue[]
Worst Ending[]
After Wolf Heimlich was fired from his job as Chief of Security, Dr. Olympia Myklos moved to Montana to do full-time field research in paleontology, digging in the rich fossil beds she found there. Her greatest find was the carnivorous Olympiasaurus dinosaur.
Bad Ending[]
After the death of Wolf Heimlich in his office, Dr. Olympia Myklos returned to Greece to teach at the university in Athens.
Good Ending[]
Dr. Olympia Myklos enjoyed the fact that so many murders had occurred in her museum, wishing only that she could have been the one to have discovered all the bodies.
Best Ending[]
Due to Laura's success at recovering the Dagger of Amon Ra and finding the murderer, Dr. Olympia Myklos married Wolf Heimlich, who continued as Chief of Security at the Leyendecker Museum. Two years after they were married, Wolf and Olympia had a child they named Morgana Wolf Heimlich.
Olympia's Unused Dialogue[]
- (Ask about Press Pass) How charming, you brought your press pass. I imagine it has allowed you to see many wonderful things, like murder scenes and accidents!
- (Ask about Work Boot) What a fascinating piece of footwear. Did it come from an accident victim? Perhaps from a disinterred corpse?
- LB I certainly hope not.
- (Ask about Red Hair) How delightful, you have a hair sample! Do you have a skin sample to go along with it, my dear?
- (Ask about Yvette's Death) Yvette's death was quite...unexpected...but it holds a certain charm in the way the killer plastered her body and placed it on display. Now her dead, but perfect, form can be enjoyed by thousands of museum patrons, not to mention those who...loved her.
- (Ask about Bifocals) A pair of bifocals? Aren't you awfully young to be going blind? Ha ha, just a little joke. I don't need bifocals yet, myself, but someday, I will dissect one too many tiny creatures, and that will be it. Bifocals for me.
- (Use Work Boot) It's very attractive, but I just don't have any place to put it.
- (Use Smelling Salts) Ah! That was refreshing!
- (Use Bifocals) No, thank you, Miss Bow. I am fortunate enough not to need them yet.
