The setting of the second game of the Laura Bow series. Laura Bow arrives in New York for the first time in 1926.
Behind the scenes[]
The locations Laura Bow visits in New York City are all actually rather bunched close to each other. While not on the same blocks the blocks are very close (and it doesn't seem Laura knows her way around very well. This is, however, justified in that Laura has only recently arrived in New York City). In the Chinatown screen it mentions the 'flowershop' (where the Speakeasy is located right across the street). Though if you ask Lo Fat about the Flower Shop, he feigns ignorance, and Laura mentions it's near the newspaper building. The Newspaper Building is across the street from the Police Station. She seems to go more out of her way to have a 'taxi' circle back around to places she should be able to walk to. However, walking to them will get her killed, as cars will not stop for her and will run her over.
