Munchhahton was a rodent goddess worshipped by Rathotep. It is not known how many other than Rathotep followed this goddess, since his attempts to introduce worship of Munchhahton to the people were unsuccessful.
One such prayer to the rat goddess has been translated and posted on Rathotep's mummy case. It reads as follows:
"Oh holy Rat, Oh Rat that Bites, We are thy Slaves, Both Days and Nights. We love thy Teeth, So Orange and Long, We bring thee Seeds, We sing thy Song."
